Lied Discovery Children’s Museum offers about 22,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits and specialized programs that facilitates an informal learning environment that highlights discovery and creative expression.

They are located on Las Vegas Blvd. near Cashman Field, and about four miles from the Circus Circus Hotel Casino.

It is a sensory experience for the whole family. The participatory programs provide a forum where the child and adult can share the learning experience with hands-on exhibit interactions.

There are programs and interactive exhibits for all ages. They are designed to exercise use of a wide range of motor skills, promote group problem-solving and cooperative activities, enhance creative imagery, provoke critical thinking and more. The exhibits are specially tailored for children at various levels and stages of learning from toddler to teenager, and up.

There are featured exhibits about science, communication and technology for example. A child can witness science experiments in Einstein‘s Corner, experience wheelchair basketball, be a radio DJ, create computer art, earn a paycheck and cash it in at their Bank exhibit, and even learn spending via use of Discovery Money at their Smith’s Food & Drug Store exhibit.

Lied Discovery has created a unique learning environment for children that provokes questions, discovery and answers by teaching through experience. It is rewarding for adults too. It will surely ignite the love of learning.
