Golden Gate Hotel Amenities: Casino, established in 1906 it is the most historic but smallest hotel in Fremont, set in San Francisco style reminiscent of the 1930’s. In 1909 gambling was outlawed in Nevada but was legalized again in 1931.

The Golden Gate began their popular shrimp cocktail tradition in 1959 and is still offered today. The tradition features lots of ocean shrimp served in an old-fashioned “tulip” sundae glass for only 99 cents. Or try the “Big Shrimp” cocktail for only $2.99. This delicious shrimp may be found in their San Francisco Shrimp Bar & Deli.

Golden Gate Hotel also has the Bay City Diner that serves a popular 16 oz. Porterhouse steak, with meal pricing around $15.

Their 11,000 square foot casino offers about 400 slot machines and a variety of table games. Listen to timeless melodies from their grand piano in the casino (played nightly), or step out into dazzling neon lights of the Fremont Experience.
